Dc Strategy Vendor Transition and Modelling

This role plays a crucial part in realising the benefits of our DC strategy business case, focusing on recovering vendor arbitrage and strengthening profitable vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage emerging business capabilities to drive customer and commercial targets through strategic partnerships and operational execution plans.
  • Ensure commercial optimisation and consistency across merchandise teams by developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures for the new warehouse.
  • Partner cross-functionally with buying managers to support successful vendor transitions to the new distribution centre and lead operational execution plans for DC strategy and vendor transition.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen, combined with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and customer-centric approach are also highly valued.
