Trade Marketing Expert

We are seeking a skilled Trade Marketing Expert to join our team. As an Assistant Manager in Trade Marketing, you will play a crucial role in promoting Hong Kong as a must-visit destination to the travel trade.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and managing marketing initiatives for niche and special interest areas, such as cruise, wine, dining, sports, and festivals. They will also be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing trade marketing programs independently, as well as maintaining and updating contents on trade-related digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Senior Managers in trade projects and activities, including events and initiatives with trade partners.
  • Conduct training events, visits, and familiarization trips for retail agents independently.
  • Develop and manage marketing initiatives for niche and special interest areas.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute trade marketing programs independently.
  • Produce and distribute trade newsletters for travel trade personnel regularly.
  • Maintain and update contents on trade-related digital platforms.
  • Manage trade databases, collaborate with Head Office to enhance engagement and database growth.
  • Oversee daily communications with trade partners.
  • Manage image and footage requests from trade.

Requirements:

  • University graduate with at least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in tourism-related fields.
  • Confident and professional in dealing with trade partners, with good communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and contribute effectively to the team effort.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of Hong Kong.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
