About the Role

Mercy Community Aged Care Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Loreto - Townsville. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for coordinating person-centred care to residents and supervising staff across one or more clusters within the residential care facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and competent clinical management and nursing interventions in accordance with recognised standards of practice, and monitor and oversee staff practices to ensure a coordinated approach to resident care.
  • Ensure residents, their families and significant others are included in the care planning process and engaged in decisions affecting the resident.
  • Coordinate and monitor the planning, implementation and evaluation of service outcomes and nursing care standards.
  • Prepare ANACC documentation to optimise funding.
About You
  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (mandatory).
  • Experience in leading a team and supervising staff.
  • Be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, visa holder with no work restrictions.
