Role Overview
The Schedule Planner is responsible for crafting and executing both domestic and international flight schedules in collaboration with various commercial and operational partners.
Reporting to the Manager of Schedule Management, you will lead the creation of seasonal and monthly schedules, ensuring optimal performance. You will explore various scheduling scenarios as needed and refine monthly and short to medium-term schedules by identifying network opportunities, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring timely delivery of schedules to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to deadlines for providing precise schedule data to stakeholders.
- Establish and nurture effective relationships with key partners.
- Accurately allocate fleet resources for the required flight program, including operational and engineering reserves.
- Generate and distribute essential reports for stakeholder evaluation and feedback.
- Apply for and manage seasonal and ad-hoc slots at designated airports.
- Integrate operational spares effectively to meet On Time Performance (OTP) targets.
- Offer timely and quality advice to facilitate consensus on scheduling constraints.
- Continuously propose enhancements to processes for improved efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Airline Schedule Planning or a related field.
- Proficient in Excel with experience in managing extensive datasets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
- A team-oriented individual with excellent attention to detail.
- Commercially minded with a focus on achieving business objectives.
