
Economic Strategy Specialist

We are seeking a high-calibre Principal Policy Analyst to join our team on a six-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, the ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately, and strong written communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely, high-level advice and support to senior management, as well as contributing to the development of multi-dimensional resourcing strategies for specific projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare documents including briefing papers, discussion papers, evaluation reports, economic appraisals, submissions, and related correspondence to support organisational objectives and outcomes in relation to economic analysis, measurement, and evaluation.
- Provide timely, high-level advice and support to the Director Economics and Evaluations.
- Contribute to the development of multi-dimensional resourcing strategies for specific projects.
The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience in areas including health service management and/or economics. Additionally, they will have high-level analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately, as well as high-level written communication skills.

- Understanding of the use of macro and microeconomic tools in conducting economic appraisals, modelling, and analysis.
