Workplace Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Workplace Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the office, providing administrative support to Country Management and other members of the Leadership Team. This role requires strong project management skills, with a focus on identifying and preventing problems or issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage office administration, including reporting to the Operations Lead and ensuring the efficient and effective running of the Australian offices.
- Negotiate and maintain contracts and service agreements, and act as the point of contact with building management.
- Manage office facilities and safety, including risk assessments, fire drills, and scheduled office building shutdowns.
- Supervise and manage the Administration staff, and provide reception back-up support.
- Participate in the planning and execution of internal and external corporate events.
- Provide support to the Head of Client and Distribution Management, including diary management, travel coordination, and project support.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently juggle numerous concurrent responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Capability to lead a virtual team and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organisational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills combined with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to respond to a changing environment with flexibility and innovation.
- Ability to understand business process, strategy, and planning.
- Customer service and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of functionality of systems.
