Catholic Development Communications Specialist

Effective communicators with a passion for fundraising are sought after to develop and deliver engaging content that inspires connection and drives meaningful support for various Catholic charitable causes.
This impactful role involves leading the strategy and execution of all donor communications, ensuring messages are inspiring, brand-aligned, and mission-driven across multiple platforms. A compelling annual fundraising communications plan will be developed and implemented across multiple Catholic charitable causes.
- Crafting and implementing an effective donor communications strategy to enhance engagement and outcomes
- Developing and executing a comprehensive annual fundraising communications plan
- Creating compelling content for appeals, donor journeys, social media, websites, and campaign collateral
- Collaborating with stakeholders to tell powerful impact stories and develop tailored messaging
- Engaging and deepening donor relationships through mission-driven messaging
- Analyzing and reporting on campaign performance to improve engagement and outcomes
What We Look For:
- A strong passion for purpose and making a positive impact
- Relevant degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in fundraising communications, copywriting, or donor engagement
- Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills across various formats
- Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
- Experience with CRMs, digital fundraising tools, and content planning
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Alignment with the mission and values of the Catholic Church
