Primary Art Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate primary art specialist teacher to join our school community.

This role commences in Term 1, 2026, for a fixed-term part-time position. As a primary art specialist teacher, you will be responsible for cultivating positive relationships with parents, students, and colleagues, while delivering best practices grounded in evidence-based decision-making and differentiation.

About the Role
  • You will teach art to students in a supportive educational environment built on strong relationships and values;
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs;
  • Contribute to the development of whole-school connected practice, collaborative team structures, and professional growth;
  • Adopt Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and engage in transparent classroom management.

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Hold an eligible teaching qualification;
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment;
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting; and
  • Consent to a screening process and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting.
