Start Your Hospitality Career with a Traineeship in Melbourne

You are invited to express your interest in a full-time hospitality traineeship with our Client Services team based in Melbourne.

This 12-month traineeship offers hands-on experience while you complete a nationally recognised qualification in Hospitality, including Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.

You'll be supported by our Client Services and Indigenous Careers teams, with the potential for ongoing opportunities within the Commonwealth Bank Group.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Welcome and register guests
  • Manage visitor access
  • Support VIP arrivals with professionalism and care
  • Prepare meeting spaces
  • Set up rooms and arrange catering
  • Ensure rooms are clean, refreshed, and ready for use
  • Assist with internal events and business meetings, including:
    • Refreshing rooms between bookings
    • Serving and clearing catering for both formal and informal functions
    • Taking coffee orders and learning barista skills
    • Supporting formal dining and cocktail service
    • Assisting with beverage service and bar setup
