Job Opportunity: HSE Professional

The role of an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional is essential to our organization. We are seeking a skilled individual who can provide expert advice on HSE matters and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to personnel in understanding and complying with HSE requirements;
  • Assist in the development of controls to minimize risk by assessing hazards and providing appropriate guidance;
  • Offer expert advice and information on HSE matters to ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures;
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and analyze hazards and develop strategies to eliminate or reduce risks associated with them;
  • Investigate and report on HSE events in accordance with established procedures and monitor the implementation of agreed control measures.

Requirements:

  • Recent and relevant experience in a similar HSE role;
  • Certification in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent);
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, and AS 4801 standards;
  • Understanding of legislative requirements related to Environment and Work Health and Safety;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications;
  • Eligibility for Australian Defence Security Clearance.
