Inventory Management Specialist

As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring stock levels are up to date. Your primary goal is to minimize discrepancies and optimize inventory turnover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliations to track inventory accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances by liaising with warehouse and production teams
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of stock adjustments, write-offs, and replenishment orders
  • Work closely with procurement and operations to manage inventory efficiently
  • Accurately enter and maintain inventory transactions, stock movements, and purchase orders in the ERP system
  • Generate and analyze inventory and stock reports to support decision-making
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance within the ERP system
  • Process customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
  • Coordinate with freight providers and warehouse staff to manage inbound and outbound stock movements
  • Verify dispatch accuracy and assist in resolving freight-related issues
  • Administer weighbridge operations as required
  • Maintain strong communication with suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Process credit requests, purchase orders, and invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain all inventory documentation, order records, and stock reports as per company policies
  • Ensure compliance with OHS/WHS regulations and site safety protocols
