Job Role:

We are seeking a qualified park officer to contribute to the delivery of effective and efficient regulatory and enforcement services. The successful applicant will provide responsive, high-quality customer service to internal stakeholders, external customers, and the broader community.

About the Position:

The park officer plays a key part in promoting compliance, community safety, and positive engagement with Council's policies and regulations. This role involves working across multiple locations and may require some out-of-hours work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Promoting compliance and community safety through regulatory and enforcement services
  • Working collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and objectives
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with community groups and stakeholders
  • Conducting site visits and inspections as required

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services) or equivalent experience
  • High level of interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to perform duties associated with the role
