Automotive Service Manager Opportunity

Our automotive dealership is seeking a highly skilled and experienced service manager to lead our dynamic service department. This is a key leadership role with strong career prospects for the right candidate.

The Role
  • Manage the end-to-end operations of the service department, ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service and workshop efficiency.

This is a hands-on role that requires excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leadership and team-building, as well as solid mechanical knowledge and workshop experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the service department, including workflow management and technician productivity.
  • Lead and support a high-performing team, mentoring technicians and service advisors to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to succeed.
  • Maintain a strong customer-first approach across all service touchpoints, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Manage warranty claims and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Drive profitability while meeting KPIs and service targets.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or Assistant Manager within an automotive dealership.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve outstanding results.
  • Solid mechanical knowledge and workshop experience, with a deep understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair principles.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and complex situations with diplomacy and tact.
  • Proficient with dealership systems, with the ability to navigate and utilize software and technology to drive business success.
