Fund Controller, Private Credit/High Yield Funds

This role involves supporting and overseeing the day-to-day activities and reporting for Private Credit/High Yield Funds. The Fund Controller will collaborate closely with the client and finance operations team in Australia to manage various tasks and ensure smooth fund operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review of financial statements and accounting packages for complex clients.
  • Manage fund launch process and produce investor reporting packages.
  • Monitor investment activity and review cash flow projections.
  • Provide support to investment teams across deal transactions and fund closing processes.
  • Ensure fund operating expenses are in-line with documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Accounting qualification required.
  • 12+ years' experience in asset management/financial services.
  • Recent and relevant experience covering responsibilities stated above.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work quickly to establish effective working relationships. They will also have experience in ad hoc project work, system implementation/upgrades and process improvements.
