Job Title: Technology Engineer - Apps and Systems

St John WA is seeking a highly skilled Technology Engineer - Apps and Systems to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and infrastructure, providing technical support to our team members, and collaborating with solution architects and SME Engineers to resolve complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user hardware and software.
  • Provide technical support to ensure the successful adoption and use of Microsoft digital solutions across the organization.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and SME Engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Participate in the administration of firewalls, switches, routers, and other network-related hardware and software.
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, and security configurations.
  • Support continuous improvement by aligning with long-term objectives and technological advancements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a System, Network, or Security Engineer role, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies and solutions.
  • Working technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Microsoft, IOS.
  • Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and cabling installation experience.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Associate Level 3 or Expert Level in Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
  • ITIL Certification.
  • CCNA or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Demonstrated continuous professional development in the latest digital workplace technologies and trends.
