Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled security professional to join our team in Canberra Centre. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong desire to make a difference, and the ability to work independently.

This role involves providing security services and supporting tenants, guests, and visitors at our shopping centre site.

  • Familiarising building tenants with key locations and relationships
  • Managing access controls
  • Responding promptly to client requests
  • Ensuring the safety and security of the site
  • Handling emergency situations
Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must demonstrate:

  • Holding an ACT Full Security Licence
  • Possessing a valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
  • Previous experience in retail security (desired but not essential)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to take ownership of service delivery under their control
  • Ability to complete reports using various platforms
  • Excellent presentation and corporate image
  • High-level problem-solving skills
  • Able to respond effectively in emergency situations
  • Valid work rights in Australia
  • Able to work shifts up to 12 hours
  • Availability across 7 days/nights
