The Senior Operations Manager is a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for leading and managing a high-performing multi-disciplinary team that supports the Commissioner in discharging all regulatory and operational obligations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Commission's Operations team, as well as overseeing operations across the Commission.
- Analyse and develop complex legislative and policy change to enhance the Commission's undertaking of its statutory obligations and regulatory functions.
- Develop and implement practice systems and processes required to effectively prepare and deliver the Commission's strategic and operational plans.
- Evaluate and establish the Commission's performance framework, including a supporting data management system that enables effective analysis and reporting for both operational and organisational performance oversight and reporting.
- Monitor and improve policies, procedures, work practices and management systems to enable the Commission to continually improve effective and efficient standards of service delivery.
- Senior level experience in providing strategic and organisational advice, government policy reform and performance delivery.
- Experience in leading a team and delivering in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in operational advice on the Commissioner's functions, statutory responsibilities and service deliverables.
