Midwife Opportunity

Deliver expert care and support to women in a rural setting. As a Registered Midwife, you will be an essential pillar of the community, providing personalized care and building lifelong relationships.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide woman-centered maternity care using best practice evidence.
  • Supervise and support less experienced clinicians to achieve quality care.

You will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary health care team and collaborate with individuals to deliver expert care.

Requirements:
  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife.
  • Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of caring for women and babies in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective clinical communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for individualized care.
  • Ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality midwifery care.
  • Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, including participation in professional development and commitment to maintaining competence.
