Catchment Solutions Job Opportunity

Catchment Solutions is a leading environmental services provider based in Mackay, Queensland, offering a wide range of projects and services across the country. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Project Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement best practice environmental projects and services, ensuring high-quality results and timely delivery.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, prepare proposals, and secure new business for the organization.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide leadership and advice to the environmental team, working collaboratively with external stakeholders and the organization as a whole.
Requirements
  • Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in environmental services provision, preferably in Queensland.
  • Working knowledge of the Queensland planning system and experience in negotiation with state referral agencies and departments.
  • Experience in engaging and managing expert sub-consultants.
  • Exposure to project coordination, management, reporting, and budgeting.
  • A commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards.
  • Experience in business operations and client management.
  • A hands-on approach to service delivery, with experience in leading by example in operational and consulting areas.
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication skills, including mentoring and staff supervision.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills, with the capacity for original and strategic thought.
