Early Childhood Educator Trainee

As an Early Childhood Educator Trainee, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children.

Our centre is dedicated to providing high-quality education and care to children. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals who share our passion for early childhood education.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care under the guidance of experienced Teachers and Educators.

  • Maintain a safe environment for children, families, and team members.
  • Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and our centre's Policies, Procedures, and Requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
  • Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team.
  • Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to a professional and positive work culture.

To be eligible for this traineeship, you must not hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years.

In addition, you must have:

  • A permanent right to work in Australia.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Interest in early years education.
  • Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one).
