Working in our Business Services team provides opportunities to engage in a broad spectrum of professional services, including compliance, business and taxation advice, entrepreneurial growth strategies, and succession planning.
What you will need to succeed
- Degree in commerce, accounting or equivalent qualification
- Previous accounting experience in public practice, finance or a related field
- Experience preparing financial statements and understanding of accounting procedures
- CA/CPA qualification or working towards it
- Knowledge of Australian income tax, GST, FBT, with a strong compliance focus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key responsibilities
- Preparing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for clients
- Building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Researching and advising on tax issues
- Mentoring junior staff and managing workflow
- Liaising with clients and external agencies
- Ensuring timely and accurate job completion
- Identifying opportunities for value-added services
