Role Overview

As a seasoned insurance professional, this role offers an opportunity to leverage your expertise in managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and providing expert advice on complex insurance matters.

The ideal candidate will possess strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Assist in the overall management of a portfolio from beginning to end of renewal cycle with a particular emphasis on profitable growth.
  • Business Development: Contribute to new business activities and identify and develop new business prospects by cross-marketing.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders, specifically insurance markets and distribution partners.
  • Client Advice: Provide personalized advice to clients in all matters affecting their insurance program needs, including explaining insurance policy conditions, risks covered, premium rates, and benefits.
  • Business Retention: Contribute to business retention activities, including all forms of customer service and broking standards.
Requirements
  • Relevant industry qualifications and certifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance/broking industry.
  • Strong understanding of invoicing procedures and file management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel for reporting.
  • Knowledge of Financial Lines Insurance products is essential.
  • Preferrably degree qualified.
