About the Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Clinical Manager to lead our residential aged care unit on the Sunshine Coast. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for guiding teams of nurses, personal carers, and support staff in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise teams to ensure optimal staffing levels, minimize agency reliance, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives within the facility.
  • Clinical Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation, including care plans, assessments, and incident reporting.
  • Risk Management: Oversee risk management activities with a focus on quality and compliance, collaborating with HR to create development opportunities for staff.
  • Accreditation: Support accreditation and audit processes, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage rosters, analyze and respond to incident data trends, enforcing corrective actions as needed.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: $135,000 - $145,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About You:

  • Senior Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in an aged care setting.
  • Clinical Expertise: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Public Health, or similar, and significant experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Business Acumen: Strong written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills.
