The Endava Google Cloud team is expanding its presence in the Australian region, seeking an experienced technologist to join our Infrastructure and Delivery Unit.

Role Overview

This permanent position presents a market-first opportunity to serve as an infrastructure subject matter expert, providing technical guidance on solutions design, governance, security, operations, and cost control best practices. Your contributions will significantly impact the continued growth of our GCP capability.

Responsibilities
  • Work with customers to design and build cloud-based infrastructures and landing zones
  • Assist with the creation of Infrastructure architectures and technical documentation
  • Design and implement:
    • Secure cloud foundational cloud implementations
    • Automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications
    • Cloud-ready applications architecture
    • Deliver end-to-end cloud-based infrastructure management solutions
    • Present Infrastructure modernization strategy to C-level executives
  • Improvements to monitoring, logging, and observability in Client environments
  • Defining and implementing cloud infrastructure governance and building deployment standards
  • Working cross-functionally with our delivery management team
Requirements

We are looking for someone with hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development experience, along with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience using Google Cloud Platform tools.

  • Experience with virtualization: servers, storage, networks
  • Google Cloud Platform certification
  • Infrastructure-based processes such as Monitoring, Capacity planning, Performance tuning, Disaster Recovery, Data centre exit
  • Experience with Google's Cloud Foundation Toolkit and Landing Zone implementations
