About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Quantitative Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Balance Sheet Management and Funding team, you will play a critical role in optimizing and monitoring balance sheet opportunities.

Job Description

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Balance Sheet Management and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) models. You will work closely with colleagues in Product, Finance, and Risk to optimize business opportunities within clearly understood and acceptable risk parameters.

  • Develop and implement complex mathematical models to measure and manage interest rate risk in banking books.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with balance sheet management.
  • Design and implement effective risk management strategies to minimize potential losses.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong academic background in quantitative fields such as mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, engineering, or computer science.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to explain complex data sets and concepts.
  • Good understanding of financial markets and key risk factors for financial products.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL and programming languages like R/Python.
  • Experience in statistical predictive modeling within a banking/financial context is highly desirable.
