We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Financial Accountant. This role will involve maintaining the financial integrity and compliance of our institution through the delivery of strategic financial and business management services.

  • This is a full-time, continuing position based at one of our main campuses in Northern Queensland.
  • The successful candidate will have a postgraduate qualification in finance or a related field and current membership with a professional accounting body.
Responsibilities

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for coordinating auditing activities, managing and resolving complex accounting and taxation queries, and providing contemporary advice in line with legislation and standards.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess high-level analytical skills, exceptional organisational abilities, and the ability to meet competing deadlines.

You must also have high-level communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and professionally.
