  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests arriving and departing the First Class Lounges.
  • Ensure guests are entering the correct lounges with understanding boarding passes.
  • Assist with the handling of passenger luggage.
  • Monitor and maintain the appearance of the lounges, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, providing information on airport and lounge facilities, as well as applicable flight information.
  • Perform occasional tasks to support the Qantas Hosts/F&B Departments.
  • Adhere to grooming, performance, and conduct standards at all times.
  • Conduct regular checks of the foyer, cleaning of curbside areas (if required), and maintain the Premium Check-in Suite to a high standard.
  • Participate in additional duties as required by management/Qantas.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as necessary.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy objects.
  • Able to obtain Federal Police clearance to work in restricted airport areas.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

You will be engaged to work under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award [MA000009].

Note: Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Federal Police check at their own cost (Will be reimbursed once approved) in order to gain ASIC certification.
