The successful candidate will have a solid interest in molding the next generation of doctors whilst providing quality medical care to rural communities. As a General Practitioner with VR status, they will be responsible for supervising medical professionals and ensuring high quality care to hospitalized and ambulatory care patients. Additionally, they may be eligible to hold a conjoint academic appointment with University.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in emergency medicine and involvement in hospital research projects. They will also be expected to provide fractional appointment arrangements which include salary entitlements and 70-80% billings. Generous remote area salary packaging arrangements are also available.
