Job Title: Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Research Council. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in primary care and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the relevant professional organization.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in primary care, preferably in a community health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality patient care and continuous learning.
