As a Hydraulic Design Technician, you will be responsible for undertaking drafting and designing functional tasks, balancing engineering and commercial outcomes while ensuring standards compliance and consistency.

You will contribute to drafting and design knowledge management, development, and transfer, as well as drawing template management as directed.

This role includes providing customer technical support as directed by the Hydraulics Design Manager.

You will work on a multitude of projects, including residential, commercial, government, education, and retail, giving you the opportunity to make the role your own.

Requirements
  • 3 years of Building Hydraulics experience in the building and construction industry (preferably with residential focus).
  • Other vocational experience specific to the role. Drafting background/design experience advantageous. AutoCAD proficient REVIT skills advantageous.
  • Technology savvy including proficient user knowledge of ERP and/or databases.
  • Design production environments
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, Australian design standards, and experience using a variety of design tools.
  • Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems
  • Degree, Certificate, Diploma, TAFE qualification in building, civil, or hydraulics design.
