About the Role:
Delivering quality vocational education and training in Work Health and Safety is a key responsibility of this position. The successful candidate will work within assigned programs, teaching and assessing students to ensure they meet industry standards.
The role involves:
- Teaching specialist Work Health and Safety units to diverse groups of students
- Developing and evaluating student learning programs and materials
- Conducting pre-training assessment reviews and assessment requirements
- Liaising with industry contacts and networks
- Participating in marketing and promotion of courses
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Appropriate post-secondary qualifications and relevant industrial experience
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- A thorough knowledge of current industry practices and procedures
- Ability to take a lead role in delivering Work Health and Safety courses
Salary: $82 - $88 per hour (plus superannuation) for L1-L3 positions
