Securing Your Future: Apprentice Security Equipment Role

About the Role

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to learn from industry experts and gain hands-on experience in security equipment installation. You will work closely with licensed technicians, learning the skills and knowledge required to install and maintain complex security systems.

  • Assist with the installation and setup of wired and wireless security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control units.
  • Support licensed technicians with tasks such as laying cabling, terminating connections, and mounting security devices.
  • Use basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.

You will have the opportunity to participate in on-the-job and off-the-job training, building your skills in technical problem-solving and fault finding. This apprenticeship is perfect for individuals who are eager to start their career in security systems and electronic solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Own transport and licence (preferred).
  • A valid White Card or willingness to obtain one.
  • A strong drive to learn and complete an apprenticeship.
