About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Director to lead our team at KU Sunbeam Preschool. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving innovation, inspiring our staff, and maintaining a high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pedagogical programs that promote children's learning and development
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to ensure a harmonious and productive working environment
  • Collaborate with the Education and Quality team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with children, families, and the local community
  • Manage daily routines, rostering, and policy implementation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian working rights
  • At least 2 years of previous directing experience
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
  • Completed Child Protection Training and demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, as well as separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
