**Disability Support Worker Job Summary**

This role involves working with individuals with disabilities to provide assistance and support in their daily lives. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be committed to delivering high-quality care and promoting the independence of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, toileting, and dressing
  • Prepare meals and assist with sleep over shifts (up to 3 shifts per week)
  • Support participants' physical and mobility requirements in accordance with training provided and relevant workforce health and safety standards
  • Facilitate community inclusion and participation, dependent on individual needs, abilities, and preferences
  • Liaise with management, report service issues, complete documentation, attend training, and participate in meetings
  • Provide assistance to other Disability Workers under the direction of the Team Leader
Requirements:
  • Comply with organizational requirements and policies
  • Recognize and uphold the right to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of the person being supported and their family
  • Work within the provisions of Workplace Health and Safety and other relevant Legislation
