About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Growth Operations Analyst to join our team at QinetiQ Limited. As a key member of our Growth team, you will be responsible for leading the development, management, and delivery of financial data analysis tools and products, as well as supporting the development of financial planning documentation for the Growth function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Establishment of Processes and Tools: Establish commensurate processes, tools, and necessary documentation in accordance with QinetiQ policy and Business Management System (BMS) rules.
  • Support Business Development Operations: Support Business Development Operations Sector-wide, including ensuring that the end-to-end process for the development of new business is compliant with the QinetiQ governance and assurance construct.
  • Undertake Data Analytics: Work autonomously to undertake data analytics using QinetiQ provided and bespoke purpose-built tools/approaches and develop requisite artifacts to support sector requirements.
  • Develop Financial Planning Products: Support the development of functional financial planning products, including but not limited to budgets, integrated strategic business plans, and other financial recording and reporting artifacts.
  • Lead Sector-Wide Drive in Consistency of Data Recording: Lead the Sector-wide drive in the consistency of data recording, including development of tools and processes to assure compliance with published policies, processes, and guidance documents.
  • Support Training and Development: Support and/or facilitate training to ensure Sector data gathering/recording activities, management, and upkeep are compliant with the data use case.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance with a significant depth of experience in a similar role.
  • Commercial Awareness and Business Acumen: Generalist experience in Business Development with strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Data Analytics Principles and Concepts: Advanced knowledge and application of data analytics principles and concepts, specifically in a business development context.
  • Financial Data Manipulation: Highly developed skills and ability to manipulate financial data using tools and techniques to prepare reports.
  • Autonomy and Collaboration: Ability to support other areas of the Growth Function and liaise with other functions, entities within the broader organization with a high level of autonomy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Ability to take a proactive approach to the adoption of standards, internal processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and the management of work within a team context.
