As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll lead end-to-end software engineering processes, designing forward-thinking solutions with hands-on development, deployment, security, and maintenance of our Payment as a Service APIs.

What You'll Do
  • Lead large-scale teams in quality improvements
  • Design and implement holistic software development strategies for complex systems
  • Craft industry-leading PaaS products and APIs from scratch using modern tech stacks
  • Influence product stakeholders and drive technical roadmaps with cross-collaborative teams

You'll execute state-of-the-art coding practices, delivering high-quality outcomes to solve core business challenges and minimize risks. With an Agile-focused mindset, you'll break boundaries to solve complex API problems and engage stakeholders through technology advice and coaching.

Tech Skills
  • Full-stack background with platform engineering perspective
  • Full SDLC expertise (including business partnering, solution design, DevSecOps)
  • AWS mastery (CDK, Lambda, API Gateways, DynamoDb, etc.)
  • Strong experience in TypeScript for backend development, preferably via Nest.js or SST
  • CI/CD tooling - GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes
  • OpenTelemetry and modern monitoring/logging tools – Splunk, AppDynamics, CloudWatch
  • Experience with system architectures (microservices, web applications, APIs, message queues/event streams)

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. Experience with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team.
