Content Governance Role Overview

This key leadership position oversees the development and implementation of enterprise-wide content governance strategies, ensuring content accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

The Content Governance Manager plays a crucial role in leading cross-functional teams to promote best practices and develop frameworks that establish standards for regulatory compliance and internal policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive content governance frameworks to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure governance processes are practical, transparent, and scalable.
  • Work with content operations teams to ensure content approvals align with business requirements and industry regulations.
  • Uplift processes and lead CMS improvements to help scale content operations.
  • Identify and mitigate content-related risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Maintain visibility over the status of content approval processes to ensure compliance at all stages.
  • Analyse content governance data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop measurement frameworks to assess content governance effectiveness.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to inform governance processes by business needs.
  • Provide governance training, resources, and expert guidance to the business.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in content governance, compliance, regulatory roles, or content quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and embedding governance frameworks and policies in regulated environments.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and content approval and governance tools.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Agile delivery environment experience highly desirable.
