Eye Care Professional

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Eye Care Professional to deliver exceptional customer service and provide personalized optical services in a professional environment.

As an expert in assisting customers with all their eye care solutions, you will be skilled in suggesting products that meet customers' needs and close sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and professional customer service and advice
  • Suggest products that meet customers' needs and close sales
  • Explain how products work & demonstrate how to use products
  • Commit to regular training and professional development
  • Operate cash registers and EFTPOS facilities efficiently
  • Manage inventory and ensure displays are merchandised appropriately
  • Work a shift at our Findon Optical store fortnightly
  • Be flexible to work at different locations if required

What We Are Looking For

You will have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, excellent personal and professional presentation, and be energetic and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Cash handling & EFTPOS experience
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Willingness to supply or undergo a police check prior to commencement
  • Ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing or a willingness to undertake relevant on-the-job training
