Job Opportunity:

G4S provides security for a major energy provider ensuring a safe and hazard-free environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the immediate safety and security of premises and all people on the premises.

  • Patrol large areas to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Respond to emergencies as part of an Initial Response Team and assist paramedics.
  • Provide surveillance and de-escalate incidents by using negotiation skills.
  • Perform drug and alcohol tests to maintain a secure environment.
  • Assist clients' staff, visitors, and contractors providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure facility security systems are up-to-date and services are compliant.
  • Submit detailed reports on safety and security hazards or breaches.

Candidates must live locally in Karratha, hold a Western Australian Driver's Licence, a Western Australian Security License - Static Guard/Crowd Control and a Certificate II Security Operations. A recent CPR certificate is also required.

About You:

As a Facility Security Officer, you will be working independently but also as part of a team. Your role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

You will work closely with other teams to ensure a cohesive and effective security operation.

The successful candidate will have excellent time management and organizational skills, being able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, being able to build rapport with colleagues and clients alike.
