Job Title: Geoscience Strategist

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled geoscientist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in geotechnics and/or engineering geology, including in a consulting environment, supported by post-graduate tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline and a preference for recent publication history.

  • Develop and execute a strategy to grow our geosciences practice in Australia West.
  • Foster teamwork, communication, coaching, mentoring, and staff development to build a high-performing team.
  • Catalyse the growth of our business through tenaciously identifying and converting market opportunities through a broad customer network and acting as a customer focal point.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, established customer/industry networks, demonstrated business development experience, and be capable of securing work related to relevant technical studies. They will also possess well-developed project management skills including schedule control and sub-consultant management.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading geosciences efforts in Perth, managing and growing the team.
  2. Coaching and mentoring staff to improve their performance and skills.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and achieve business objectives.
