Transformative Business Solutions Analyst

About the Role:
  • This is a key opportunity to leverage innovative technology and drive strategic growth within the healthcare sector.
  • You will play a pivotal role in shaping next-generation Electronic Medical Record (EMR) capabilities, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with product managers to define, document, prioritize and communicate offering features, functional and technical requirements.
  2. Provide domain expertise, supporting pre-sales work, ongoing product development, and knowledge transfer.
  3. Lead, identify, define, and document detailed business requirements and functional content features needed to meet customer and business requirements.
  4. Support regional and global product managers and colleagues in defining standard business processes, solution services, and mapping these to standard business processes and care activities/functional transactions.
  5. Identify potential applications for offerings and technologies, investigate and resolve matters of significance, and design strategies to ensure that the offering meets business needs.
  6. Analyse and document client's business requirements and processes, and communicate these requirements by accurately defining feature and functional requirements.
  7. Contribute to test scenarios, review and update beta test scripts, and ensure feedback from testing is accurately managed and provided to development for new requirements and fixes.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' experience working as a business analyst in an EMR environment, either in a vendor organization or health setting.
  • Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions.
  • Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems.
  • Knowledge of information technology, including working with functional groups within an organization.
  • Background in business process analysis and re-engineering, as well as experience with contemporary engagement methods, including Proof of Concepts, application design, and delivery methodologies (Waterfall/Agile).
  • Familiarity with ANZ healthcare processes and requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with customers and team members.
  • Presentation skills to effectively present to management and customers.
