Job Title: Peer Support Worker
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced carer to take up a role within our mental health and wellbeing service. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other staff and management to ensure the best possible support and participation opportunities for carers and families.
The ideal candidate will have lived experience as a family member, carer or supporter of someone who has experienced mental health challenges and has used public mental health services. They will also have an in-depth understanding of the Family-Carer movement and a strong drive to improve family and carer experiences with mental health services.
About You- You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work as part of a diverse team.
- You will have the ability to draw on your lived experience expertise to inform organisational policies that will benefit carers and families.
