We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our organization as a Part-Time Manual Truck Delivery Driver.

Job Summary:

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to local areas using a manual transmission truck, ensuring timely deliveries and adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safely operate a manual transmission truck to deliver goods to designated locations within the local area.
  2. Load and unload goods onto and from the truck, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transportation.
  3. Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
  4. Inspect the truck before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
  5. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and making deliveries.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service by being courteous and professional when interacting with clients at delivery locations.
  7. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transportation.
  8. Assist with other tasks or duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the delivery process.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience driving manual transmission vehicles is required.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed during loading and unloading.
  • Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work two days a week, with the possibility of additional hours based on business needs.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required.
  • Familiarity with local roads and routes is preferred but not required.
