Your Role and Responsibilities:
In the capacity of a Registered Nurse on our Surgical Ward, you will deliver comprehensive care to patients recovering from various surgical interventions, including but not limited to plastic surgery, surgical oncology, urology, and vascular procedures. This fast-paced environment offers diverse clinical experiences, ensuring that no two days are alike and allowing you to broaden your expertise.
You will report to a supportive Nurse Unit Manager who prioritizes your professional development through regular feedback and guidance. Our structured onboarding and mentorship programs, along with ongoing support from Clinical Nurse Educators, will ensure you thrive in your role.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years of post-registration experience.
- Experience in a surgical ward setting, particularly in plastic, surgical oncology, urology, or vascular nursing.
- Demonstrated empathy and strong emotional intelligence in patient interactions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Availability for full-time work on a rotating roster, with part-time options also considered.
- Full working rights in Australia.
