Role Overview
As a Registered Nurse in our Surgical Ward, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Your role will encompass specialties such as Orthopaedic, Neurosurgery, Urology, Upper Gastrointestinal, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Breast and Endocrine Surgery.
We emphasize the importance of ongoing education and support our nursing staff through dedicated clinical nurse educators available on the ward.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain current registration as a Registered Nurse with the AHPRA.
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Surgical Unit.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, including email and electronic patient record systems.
  • Previous experience in a private hospital setting is advantageous.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to providing quality, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to manage shift work, including day and night shifts across a 7-day period.
