About the Role
Bupaoptical is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our care homes, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality maintenance services across our care homes, including repairs and maintenance, to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.
- Identify and carry out preventative maintenance, repair, and improvement works to the building, grounds, and equipment in-line with our maintenance schedules.
- Participate in and lead continuous improvement or corrective activities associated with our care home facilities.
- Assist in the development of repair and maintenance budgets, monitor actual utilization, and escalate any over-expenditure.
- Document and communicate team and individual performance expectations.
- Manage the work of maintenance, cleaning, and laundry assistants across shifts, ensuring dining requirements are met.
Requirements
- Formal qualifications at post-trade or advanced certificate or associate diploma level, and/or relevant skills training or experience.
- Experience in property maintenance and building works.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in occupational health and safety.
- The ability to solve problems independently.
