About This Role

Lead a team of chefs to deliver high-quality meals for residents at various facilities.


This position involves managing kitchen operations, including menu planning, stock control, and food safety compliance.


Main Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience in aged care or commercial catering and possess the necessary skills to manage kitchen output, ensuring consistent quality, portion control, and plate presentation.


  • Develop and implement a four-week rotating menu aligned with established guidelines.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintaining proper food storage, labelling, and stock distribution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with staff, ensuring they understand dietary types and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including audits and documentation.

Requirements

The successful candidate will hold a qualification in Commercial Cookery (Cert III/IV) and/or have experience working as a Chef in Aged Care.


  • Trade qualifications and experience in managing kitchen operations, including menu planning, stock control, and food safety compliance.
