Soccer has the power to unite communities and foster social change. At our state-of-the-art facility in Sydney, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of young people through soccer.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sports Development Officer to join our team and help us achieve our goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing soccer plans, programs, and initiatives that promote sport and recreation as a means of enhancing youth and community health.

The position involves developing and implementing coaching structures, plans, and sessions that cater to the needs of young kids. This includes designing opportunities for them to learn and grow through soccer, planning and delivering engaging soccer camps and competitions, and fostering a culture of diversity and inclusivity.

Key responsibilities also include managing tournaments and events, maintaining records, evaluating competitions and programs, promoting our soccer programs, building relationships with local soccer groups and schools, researching community development trends, recruiting coaching staff, and coaching and officiating where required.

To be successful, candidates must have a strong educational background or equivalent work experience, at least two years of experience in the sports and leisure industry, and excellent communication skills. They should be able to think creatively, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
