Job Role: Executive Assistant

The Office of the Vice-Chancellor and President oversees strategic direction, governance, and stakeholder engagement for a forward-thinking university. Within this framework, the Associate Vice-President drives regional priorities, community partnerships, and high-quality educational outcomes across local campuses.

As an Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-level support to management, acting as a trusted point of contact and ensuring seamless communication between departments and stakeholders.

  • Provide administrative support including diary, travel, and correspondence management.
  • Act as a professional first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate office workflows, committee support, and financial tasks.
  • Assist with events, reporting, and minor project administration.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or completion of an associate diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Proficient in computer operation, including business software and corporate information systems.
  • Proven ability to operate in a cooperative and collaborative team-based environment, including contributing to the achievements of team goals, KPIs, and project outcomes.
  • Current C Class Driver's License.
  • Blue card (Working with children positive notice).
