About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consulting Engineer to join our team at Duratec. As a key member of our technical division, MEnD, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Civil Infrastructure and Building Condition Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of civil infrastructure and buildings to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Site Inspection, Testing, and Analysis: Conduct site inspections, testing, and analysis to gather data and inform engineering decisions.
  • Materials Durability Assessments and Planning: Assess the durability of materials and develop plans to extend their lifespan.
  • Remediation Specifications: Develop specifications for remediation projects to ensure effective and efficient solutions.
  • Corrosion Management and Cathodic Protection Design: Design and implement corrosion management and cathodic protection systems to protect infrastructure.
  • Digital Delivery of Condition Assessments and Defect Management: Utilize digital tools to deliver condition assessments and defect management solutions.
  • Prototype and Trial Innovative Technology Solutions: Develop and test innovative technology solutions to improve engineering outcomes.
  • Asset Maintenance Strategies: Develop and implement asset maintenance strategies to optimize infrastructure performance.
  • Supporting Remediation Contracting Division: Collaborate with the remediation contracting division to deliver effective remediation solutions.
Requirements
  • Professional Engineer: Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Civil, Structural, or Materials Engineering, or a related field.
  • Business Development Experience: Possess experience in business development, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and understand their needs and expectations.
  • Technical and Practical Experience: Combine technical and practical experience to consult on asset condition and remediation.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess high attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
